Hipo first took on the then-named Algorand Mobile Wallet, building their iOS & Android apps, until we took on the mantle from Algorand, and rebranded to Pera Wallet as our first Hipo-owned product. The team completely remodeled the brand, the application, as well as the community. Pera Wallet built incredible new features, including a discovery platform for dapps, a completely rebranded onboarding experience to make new users feel at home, and token swap feature that allows users to trade without leaving the app. The result? Pera Wallet rocketed to 300k+ MAU, and from zero to a bustling community of 40k followers in the span of 18 months. Tinyman Building and growing Algorand’s first decentralized exchange platform Tinyman offers an automated and decentralized way to trade tokens on the Algorand blockchain. Leveraging the use of smart contracts, it’s an open and safe marketplace for traders, liquidity providers and developers. The idea for Tinyman was born when Hipo pitched the idea of building an exchange platform on Algorand to investors, who funded the initial stage of Tinyman. The Hipo team built the whole brand, smart contract, and application, and created the most widely-used exchange platform on the blockchain. Disco is a Toronto-based company that had the brilliant idea to bring online learning into a live virtual environment. With live courses and workshops designed around video conferencing, Disco aims to transform the way people learn from home. Disco approached us as no more than an idea back in 2019, and we helped them build their whole platform from the ground up, from strategic support to design, from its solid infrastructure to its amazing UI. We were proud to see Disco grow into their own team and complete a $6M seed round. Algorand Developer Portal Tools for creating a thriving developer community on Algorand Algorand Dev Portal & Metrics Dashboard are fundamental tools for new and seasoned developers alike who want to build on Algorand. It contains learning modules, discovery tools, extensive Algorand documentation, as well as access to social events and even interactive challenges to make their first Algorand experience a great one. After working on Algorand’s wallet for a year, Algorand tasked us with creating their dev portal, and we rose to the task, designing and building the whole app from the ground up. The Algorand Dev portal is going strong, and we’re happy to see it be one of the first touch points for devs in the ecosystem. Algorand Governance Turning Algorand into a truly decentralized blockchain through community governance Algorand Governance portal allows users to stake their Algo tokens for 3 months to become governors. They gain the right to vote on key decisions during their time as governors, in proportion to the amount of Algo they stake. It’s Algorand’s path into decentralization. Algorand once again enlisted Hipo in building perhaps their most important touch point, onc again from the ground up. The stakes were high (no pun intended), but we loved being a part of it. Here’s to a more decentralized Algorand! Unwrapit No more swag, because sustainable and ethical virtual gifts are the future. Unwrapit started out with the idea to reduce waste and unnecessary corporate gifting, by introducing amazing, quirky, virtual gifts that, if not wanted, could turn into charitable contributions. An amazing idea by an amazing team. They approached Hipo to design and build their platform from the ground up. We happily took the challenge, creating completely unique \"unwrapping\" experiences and rebuilding the definition of virtual gifting, and putting it all in a scalable infrastructure and a beautiful Web app. Getir A design overhaul for the most popular courier app in Turkey Getir is a groundbreaking courier delivery platform, very popular in Turkey. Their apps allows for incredibly fast delivery of anything to your doorstep. So when they approached Hipo for a complete redesign of their mobile clients, our design team rose to the task. We redesigned Getir’s whole mobile platform from the ground up, addressing their UX issues and creating user flows that matched Getir’s simple and efficient service. The result? Getir has been featured on the App Store by Apple, and is among the highest rated apps in Turkey with over half a million happy users. Qube Money A digital bank that helps you distribute your money and control your spending. Yes please. Qube Money was born from the notion to control your spending by using an account divided into themed cash envelopes (or Qubes), allowing you to make informed decisions on what you're spending and control your money like never before. The Hipo team built Qube from the ground up, from the Banking infrastructure of creating Qubes, to the POS system that allowed Qube to accept\u002Fdecline card transactions, to the beautiful native Qube mobile apps. Qube Money is now launched, funded, and run by its in-house team. We're proud to see it flourish. Robinhood Zero commission stock trading. Like it should be. Robinhood is the next frontier in stock trading. The great team at Robinhood knew that trading overhead could be reduced, so they “cut out the fat that makes other brokerages costly” and created an iOS platform everyone could trade on. For free. The Robinhood team wanted the sheer simplicity and benefit of their offering to be reflected in the UI. Back in 2016, our iOS team worked to produce fully animated, customizable and high-performance UI components that made the complex stock data look as simple as “free stock trading” sounds. Hipo first took on the then-named Algorand Mobile Wallet, building their iOS & Android apps, until we took on the mantle from Algorand, and rebranded to Pera Wallet as our first Hipo-owned product. The team completely remodeled the brand, the application, as well as the community. Pera Wallet built incredible new features, including a discovery platform for dapps, a completely rebranded onboarding experience to make new users feel at home, and token swap feature that allows users to trade without leaving the app. The result? Pera Wallet rocketed to 300k+ MAU, and from zero to a bustling community of 40k followers in the span of 18 months. Tinyman Building and growing Algorand’s first decentralized exchange platform Tinyman offers an automated and decentralized way to trade tokens on the Algorand blockchain. Leveraging the use of smart contracts, it’s an open and safe marketplace for traders, liquidity providers and developers. The idea for Tinyman was born when Hipo pitched the idea of building an exchange platform on Algorand to investors, who funded the initial stage of Tinyman. Disco is a Toronto-based company that had the brilliant idea to bring online learning into a live virtual environment. With live courses and workshops designed around video conferencing, Disco aims to transform the way people learn from home. Disco approached us as no more than an idea back in 2019, and we helped them build their whole platform from the ground up, from strategic support to design, from its solid infrastructure to its amazing UI. We were proud to see Disco grow into their own team and complete a $6M seed round. Algorand Developer Portal Tools for creating a thriving developer community on Algorand Algorand Dev Portal & Metrics Dashboard are fundamental tools for new and seasoned developers alike who want to build on Algorand. It contains learning modules, discovery tools, extensive Algorand documentation, as well as access to social events and even interactive challenges to make their first Algorand experience a great one. After working on Algorand’s wallet for a year, Algorand tasked us with creating their dev portal, and we rose to the task, designing and building the whole app from the ground up. The Algorand Dev portal is going strong, and we’re happy to see it be one of the first touch points for devs in the ecosystem. Algorand Governance Turning Algorand into a truly decentralized blockchain through community governance Algorand Governance portal allows users to stake their Algo tokens for 3 months to become governors. They gain the right to vote on key decisions during their time as governors, in proportion to the amount of Algo they stake. It’s Algorand’s path into decentralization. Algorand once again enlisted Hipo in building perhaps their most important touch point, onc again from the ground up. The stakes were high (no pun intended), but we loved being a part of it. Here’s to a more decentralized Algorand! Unwrapit No more swag, because sustainable and ethical virtual gifts are the future. Unwrapit started out with the idea to reduce waste and unnecessary corporate gifting, by introducing amazing, quirky, virtual gifts that, if not wanted, could turn into charitable contributions. Their apps allows for incredibly fast delivery of anything to your doorstep. So when they approached Hipo for a complete redesign of their mobile clients, our design team rose to the task. We redesigned Getir’s whole mobile platform from the ground up, addressing their UX issues and creating user flows that matched Getir’s simple and efficient service. The result? Getir has been featured on the App Store by Apple, and is among the highest rated apps in Turkey with over half a million happy users. Qube Money A digital bank that helps you distribute your money and control your spending. Yes please. Qube Money was born from the notion to control your spending by using an account divided into themed cash envelopes (or Qubes), allowing you to make informed decisions on what you're spending and control your money like never before. The Hipo team built Qube from the ground up, from the Banking infrastructure of creating Qubes, to the POS system that allowed Qube to accept\u002Fdecline card transactions, to the beautiful native Qube mobile apps. Robinhood is the next frontier in stock trading. The great team at Robinhood knew that trading overhead could be reduced, so they “cut out the fat that makes other brokerages costly” and created an iOS platform everyone could trade on. For free. The Robinhood team wanted the sheer simplicity and benefit of their offering to be reflected in the UI. Back in 2016, our iOS team worked to produce fully animated, customizable and high-performance UI components that made the complex stock data look as simple as “free stock trading” sounds.
