Privacy Policy

Who we are
Websites on Display (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates ondisplay.website, a curated gallery of website design inspiration. This privacy policy explains how we handle information when you use our website and related services, including our personal Pinterest integration used to share gallery content.
Information we collect
We collect limited information in the following ways:
- Website submissions. If you submit a website, we receive the URL and any credit names or roles you provide.
- Technical logs. Our hosting and infrastructure providers may automatically process standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps needed to operate and secure the service.
- Cookies and similar tech. We may use essential cookies or local storage required for basic site functionality. We do not use advertising trackers on this site.
We do not require user accounts to browse the gallery, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
How we use information
We use collected information to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the gallery
- Review and publish website submissions
- Respond to copyright, credit, or removal requests
- Protect the service against abuse and technical issues
- Publish selected gallery content to our own social channels, including Pinterest
We use the Pinterest API to create boards and pins on our own Pinterest account for marketing and discovery of Websites on Display content. This integration is operated by us; it is not a multi-user product that logs other people into Pinterest through our site.
When publishing, we may send publicly available gallery information to Pinterest (such as site name, caption text, image URL, and a link back to ondisplay.website). We do not sell Pinterest data, and we do not collect Pinterest login credentials from visitors. Access credentials for our Pinterest account are stored securely and used only to provide this publishing service.
Pinterest’s own handling of data is governed by Pinterest’s Privacy Policy.
Sharing of information
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help us host, store, or deliver the website (for example cloud hosting), or when required by law. Gallery content we choose to publish may appear on third-party platforms such as Pinterest.
Data retention
We keep submission and gallery-related information for as long as needed to operate the archive and fulfill the purposes described above, unless a longer retention period is required by law. You may request removal of featured work or submitted credits as described below.
Your choices and requests
If you are a copyright holder, credit subject, or someone who submitted information and want it corrected or removed, contact us and we will reasonably accommodate the request.
