Tramlines

Tramlines is the digital home for Sheffield's premier inner-city music festival, designed to capture the raw, high-energy essence of a live summer event. The website serves as a central hub for festival-goers to secure tickets, explore diverse lineups, and purchase official merchandise. Its primary purpose is to convert excitement into action through a seamless, mobile-first user experience that prioritizes essential information like dates and artist rosters. The visual identity is unapologetically bold and high-octane, utilizing a maximalist color palette of electric green, hot pink, and deep orange. The design leans heavily into a contemporary festival aesthetic, combining heavy typographic hierarchies with grainy, immersive photography that places the user directly in the crowd. It targets a young, music-loving demographic that responds to vibrant, non-conformist branding and a sense of community-driven energy.
