Under Pressure Solutions is a high-concept experimental research project presented by ECAL for the 2024 Milano Design Week. The website serves as a digital exhibition space, documenting an investigation into the sustainable potential of cellulose sponge within the furniture industry. It bridges the gap between academic industrial design research and tangible, avant-garde product prototypes. The visual identity is unapologetically bold and editorial, utilizing a high-contrast, Swiss-inspired aesthetic. Massive, heavy-weight typography dominates the layout, acting as both information and structural element. The design employs a strict grid system, monochromatic text, and large-scale macro photography of material textures, creating a sophisticated, museum-grade digital experience that targets design professionals, academics, and the global creative community.
