PIND

PIND is a digital archival project dedicated to documenting the history of the French punk scene from 1976 to 2016. Serving as a cultural repository, the site connects researchers, artists, and activists to preserve the raw legacy of a subculture. It functions as both an educational resource and a call to action for archivists to contribute their own historical materials. The visual identity is a masterclass in neo-brutalist, subculture-inspired design. Utilizing a high-contrast palette of electric pink, acid yellow, and deep black, the site captures the chaotic energy of the punk movement. The use of pixelated typography, grainy textures, and stark, geometric layouts creates a lo-fi, DIY aesthetic that feels authentic to its subject matter. It is a bold, unapologetic digital experience designed for music historians, subculture enthusiasts, and the creative underground.
